Kevin Hines is a mental health activist, a suicide prevention advocate, an author, and a filmmaker. At a young age, Kevin struggled with depression and suicidal thoughts. One day, it became too much, and he decided to take his own life by jumping off of the golden gate bridge. Miraculously he survived the fall with a 98% fatality rate, and was kept afloat until the coast guard could recuse him by a friendly sealion. After this, he dedicated his life to helping others avoid the same action he took through programs, films, books, and speaking. He is known around the world and has been featured countless times by major news and media networks. It was an honor to have Kevin on and especially important as many people are struggling with depression as the pandemic looms.
